Booking an adventure elopement
Why choose an adventure elopment
There are many benefits to eloping over a wedding. My two biggest I like to mention if a couple is considering their options, are intimacy and value. An elopement gives you the chance to enjoy a setting with just you and your partner. There is something special about a ceremony where your vows and first look is private and surrounded by your favorite environment rather than tons of people. Better yet if you want some of your favorite people without inviting a village, you can choose to bring your closest people with you. Most National parks allow up to 12 people to attend your ceremony with you.
Secondly the cost to elope in somewhere like a national park vs paying for a local venue is unmatched. You can choose the mountains, a lake, the desert, or wherever you would like all while avoiding the massive cost of a venue. You can only find this type of venue in a state or national park. It allows for endless beauty and unlimited experience. This option also allows you get married with a much lower cost overall. With a lower cost you can choose to put that money towards other needs for your big day. It leaves more wiggle room for flying somewhere beautiful, splurging on a dress, or my personal favorite, an activity during your big day, like a hike, rafting or even climbing.
What is unique or different about an adventure elopement

An adventure elopement is focused around you and your partner enjoying an activity together in the outdoors. Sometimes it's a simple activity. It can be just exploring a national park with your partner and frolicking in the forest of the Sequioa's or Paddle boarding down the Merced river. You can choose to explore a sought out bucket list area and have a ceremony in a completely new place. Or you can choose somewhere special to you both, and do something more advanced like hiking half dome, or climbing trad in Joshua Tree. Adventure Elopements are for anyone and everyone, and allows you to do something special on your day together that you will remember forever.

"but we are not adventurous enough."

Believe it or not you don't have to be! There are no requirements for being able to have an adventure elopement. Adventure elopements are more so about how each couple defines adventure. And less about "How adventurous are you?" I have had couples opt to just walk trails in national parks and stop at site seeing areas. All while I capture them enjoying their big day. And this is really important to me as a photographer. I want to know what you consider to be adventure to you both. It's what makes you special as a couple. It's how you both move through the world together.
"What if my adventure is too much?"

I promise, it's not! Plan as big of an adventure as you want. I have a package that allows for up to 12 hours of coverage for this reason. If you want to hike somewhere far and elope in the middle of nowhere the next day, I'll gladly go with you. I love when I get wild adventure ideas thrown at me. This is your day, and you should get to live it out how you want. Whether that is hiking a seriously long distance, taking a boat out to the middle of a lake, summiting a mountain, or climbing the side of one. I am here for it all.

WHY Couples Choose me

The feedback I continue to get is my knowledge around the outdoors and my approach to story telling photography. I have been a hiker and climber for many years and have explored and shot landscape for sometime now within frequently sought out elopement locations, My love for adventure and knowledge of the locations couples choose, has helped many couples to feel at ease when planning out their big day with me. My goal is to allow the bride and groom to have nothing else to worry about besides enjoying their adventure and marrying the love of their life
